MrJumbo’s New York: Chelsea

Gotta have flags.

The Old Chelsea Post Office. All these pictures are from Chelsea or nearby.

High up above the street, someone has put a vegetable garden in a windowbox, with ivy and tomato vines looking as pleasant from the street as they must from inside.

Many of this area’s buildings have wonderful stonework that completely changes character as the sun moves across the sky. (Click on the picture for a larger image.)

A window in the building I used to live in, back when I moved to Chelsea. Early morning sun’s glare.

This is with my old camera, but I’ll tuck it in here anyhow: It’s the view out my old back window, before I moved to where I am now.

Flag out my (current) window.
