MrJumbo’s New York: Empire State

From the Empire State Building, I grabbed this shot of the Chrysler Building and the 59th Street Bridge (a.k.a. Queensboro Bridge).

They sure don’t want you jumping off the Empire State Building. They’d rather you impale yourself on these hooks instead.

Looking south from the Empire State, the water was like crinkled aluminum foil, and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge was never so pretty. (Click on the picture for a bigger image.)

The Chrysler Building again (from 31st Street this time).

The Empire State Building looking all dramatic on a snowy day, just after the lights turned on for nighttime viewing.

A different view of the Empire State, emphasizing the windows and the Art Deco design instead of the shape and height. (A much larger version of this is available from my Desktop Pictures page.)
