Wyoming '99: Friday

Franklin by a mountain reservoir.

We turned off the pavement eventually and headed north on a dirt road to get to Elk Mountain, where we were headed.

Along the way, Franklin wanted to stop and see if he could find a camp he'd heard of where German prisoners of war were kept during World War II. We turned off here and found a reservoir instead.

Julianne found a picturesque stump.

Contemplating the universe.

It was verging on rain while we were there. Nobody else got out of the cars.
