Savage Canyon Expedition 2001: Bill’s Pix

Bill DeWitt took these pictures on the trip to and from dropping us off at Lee’s Ferry to start the voyage, plus a few after the trip was over.

After Bill dropped us off at Lee’s Ferry to start getting the boats ready, he and Mary headed in to Page to get parts for Steve’s truck, and they had a chance to visit Glen Canyon Dam at the same time. After they said goodbye to us as we headed downstream, Bill and Mary drove down to Boulder City on their way home.

After we pulled out at Pearce Ferry, we came through Baker, California, on the way home, stopping by the big thermometer, then we stopped in Barstow for food and to have a look at some aerial pictures of the area we had just floated through.

Some of these pictures have the rafters in them; some don’t.
